Bridget Roberts - Partner

With thirteen years marketing experience behind her, Bridget specialises in promoting products and services.  Whether through writing promotional material such as product brochures and advertisements or by designing complete websites, she ensures that your marketing message reaches the correct target audience in the best way.

Before setting up Pryor Roberts in 1999, Bridget was Product Manager for Oriflame Cosmetics, based in Brussels, responsible for the development and marketing of Swedish skincare products for Eastern Europe.

Before taking up the post with Oriflame, Bridget worked for Lloyds TSB plc in London, where she was Assistant Product Manager responsible for the marketing of electronic payment services to small businesses.  Her Joint Honours Degree in French and Business Studies from Leeds University has helped ensure that she can successfully combine marketing theory with genuine business situations.

Amanda Marcus - Account Manager

Amanda Marcus joined Pryor Roberts in 2005 as an associate, bringing valuable new skills, and increasing the company’s scope and capacity. She specialises in copywriting, research, event organisation and translation. Amanda has been a business journalist since 1989 when she joined Miller Freeman, part of the United Newspapers Group. After several years in Brussels as editor of the group’s flagship publication, PPI, she returned to the UK as Communications Manager for the catering arm of the Granada Group. Headhunted back into the forest products industry, she spent six years as editor and publisher of the Papermaker magazine titles before becoming freelance in 2001. She continues freelance activities for clients, which include market pulp consultants HawkinsWright, numerous business publications and industry organisations, as well as consumer magazines.

A graduate of Cambridge University (M.A. Cantab in modern languages), she also spent a year studying communication and photography in Mexico as winner of a Rotary International Scholarship.

Jenny Silk - PR Assistant

Jenny Silk joined Pryor Roberts in 2006, and handles our administration. After more than a decade with the Ministry of Defence and the Foreign office, including postings to Northern Ireland, Czechoslovakia (as was) and the USA, Jenny joined Penguin books as PA to the managing director, a post which she held for eight years. A more local opportunity then arose as PA to the headmistress of Benenden School. Jenny stayed at Benenden for four years before a career break, after which she joined the team at Pryor Roberts.
